A compound got burnt This Sunday morning and the fire was said to be triggered by an 8 year old girl..
This building was set on fire due to the keeping of fuel close to kerosine (stove)

A young man and he's wife lived in a one room self contain,
Last night, the young man bought fuel on he's way back from work
And he kept the fuel in the kitchen so he could use it this morning after church!!!
unfortunately for him, he's gone to church and he's wife was busy selling akara outside the compound
When this 8 year old child went inside the kitchen to prepare indomie for herself ,
So she turned on the stove and went to get water to commence cooking, on her way back to the stove,
She not knowing, kicked the 4 liters of fuel close to her and the fuel ran straight to the stove and then "BOOM" it goes......
Thank God the little girl sustained a little burnt injury on her leg and has been rushed to the hospital while others commenced work on stopping the fire...
Thanks to RIVER STATE FIRE AUTHORITY for the early turn up to help stop the fire.....
No life lost,
